What’s the PVA sponge?
PVA Sponge, sometimes referred to as Polyvinyl Alcohol (formalized) Sponge, is a high-tech plastic sponge that has many of the same properties and qualities as a natural sea sponge. Static-free and lint-free, PVA Sponge is hydrophilic with porosities from 55 to 95. A super-soft cleansing sponge, gentle for even the most sensitive skin. Use dampened with water to remove all cosmetics. Rinse the sponge thoroughly, and allow to air-dry. Use the moistened sponge to gently remove the cleanser or moisten the face. Repeat. Lastly, rinse cloth thoroughly and allow to air dry. Machine wash in cold water if desired. The sponge hardens when dry, but will soften again when thoroughly moistened with warm water.
